About Boundary Oak Golf Course
Set against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Diablo, Boundary Oak Golf Course is widely regarded as one of the top public golf facilities in Northern California. Designed by Robert Muir Graves and opened in 1969, the course hosts nearly 65,000 rounds per year — a testament to its enduring popularity with East Bay golfers.
The layout features a championship design with tree-lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and greens that reward both power and precision. The driving range is one of the best in the Bay Area, with 60 stalls including grass tees and covered stations for rainy days. Five practice putting greens allow ample warm-up time before your round.
Boundary Oak's full-service facility includes a well-stocked pro shop, a golfer's grille serving breakfast and lunch, and a professional teaching staff offering lessons for all skill levels. The stunning views of Mount Diablo from several holes make this one of the most scenic courses in the East Bay.
