About The Club at Ruby Hill

The Club at Ruby Hill is a private golf and lifestyle club set on roughly 225 acres in the Livermore Valley wine country near Pleasanton. Its centerpiece is an 18-hole championship course that holds a notable distinction: it was Jack Nicklaus’s first design in Northern California, opened in 1996, and remains the only Nicklaus Signature course in the region.

Playing to par 72 and measuring about 7,400 yards from the Nicklaus tees — the longest layout in Northern California — the course follows the natural arroyos and contours of the valley. Exceptionally wide fairways, towering native oaks, expansive lakes, dramatic elevation changes and Nicklaus’s signature contoured bentgrass greens give players of every level five sets of tees to choose from.

Beyond golf, the 32,000-square-foot villa-style clubhouse overlooks the 18th green and anchors a full slate of amenities — resort-style swimming, tennis, bocce, dining and year-round social events, all framed by surrounding vineyards. The club is managed by Arcis Golf.

Ruby Hill is private; rounds are reserved for members and their guests, and there is no public tee-time access. Membership inquiries are handled by the club.
