Lone Tree Golf & Event Center

Lone Tree Golf & Event Center is Antioch's public 18-hole course and one of the oldest layouts in the East Bay, open since 1934 and known locally as the Jewel of the Delta. Set on rolling, open hillsides adjacent to Mount Diablo State Park, it plays about 6,427 yards to a par 72 with a slope around 125 — fairly open off the tee and forgiving enough to keep the round fun for every level.

The course began as nine holes in 1934, expanded to eighteen in the early 1950s, and has been refined over the decades, including a move to sand-based greens in 1990 and ongoing bunker and tree work. Mature Red Oaks, Cypress, Eucalyptus and Ponderosa Pines frame the fairways and punish the occasional wayward shot, giving the layout its character.

Lone Tree has a deep amateur-golf tradition: it hosts several NCGA point events each year and is home to the active Antioch Golf Club, with weekend tournaments throughout the season. Reasonable green fees and a walkable layout make it one of the better values in the Bay Area.

On site you will find a driving range and practice area, a pro shop, instruction, and the Champions Bar & Grill, plus a renovated event center for weddings and tournaments. The course is open to the public year-round.
