Do not let par 63 fool you. The layout packs eleven par-3s, five par-4s and two par-5s into about 5,079 yards from the tips, but the holes are not short on demand: the par-3s stretch from roughly 143 to 224 yards, both par-5s run well over 500, and most of the par-4s are full two-shotters. With real elevation changes, varied tee placements and narrow, hilly corridors, you will use nearly every club in the bag.

The course has built a reputation for conditioning that punches above its green-fee class, particularly its quick, undulating greens. Each nine loops clockwise from opposite sides of the clubhouse, and the shorter routing means rounds typically finish in under four hours. It is a walkable layout, and because carts must stay on the path at the par-3s anyway, plenty of players choose to walk it.

Practice facilities are limited to a putting green and chipping area — there is no driving range — but the hilltop clubhouse has a pro shop and the full-service Hilltop Restaurant & Bar with patio views, plus an event center for groups up to 150. A traditional dress code applies year-round: collared shirts are required, and no denim, sweatpants or athletic shorts are permitted.

Green fees include a cart and vary by day and time, with twilight weekday rounds seen around $37 and higher weekend and prime-time rates.
