Where the Bay Area competes
The Bay Area has one of the deepest amateur golf calendars in the country. The Northern California Golf Association runs a full championship season — many of its events are contested at its Poppy Ridge home in Livermore — while the historic San Francisco City Championship, the oldest consecutively held city championship in the United States, is decided each spring at TPC Harding Park. Closer to the water, the long-running Alameda Commuters has been played at Corica Park since the 1920s.
The schedule below covers the 2026 season into early 2027. Each event links to its full listing on AmateurGolf.com for dates, entry details and results; where we have a course page for the host venue, you'll find a link to it too. For the always-current list, see the AmateurGolf.com Bay Area directory.
